Jason Pohl is in his Junior year pursuing a dual-degree, BA Theatre and BA Philosophy at West Virginia University. Upon graduation, Jason would like to be a Director and Stage Manager, conveying human experiences and emotions on stage. Jason has actively held leadership roles within WVU’s School of Theatre and Dance. Pohl has been Stage Manager for the WVU Mainstage Productions of, “Mud” (Fall 2019) and “The Moors,” (Fall 2018.) He was also House Manager for “Dance Now!” and “You Can’t Take It With You” (2019), during his Freshman year, Jason was Assistant Stage Manager for “Naga-Mandala” (Spring 2018.)

Jason is an active brother and Jewish Identity Chair of the Mu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi,) The International Jewish Fraternity. This is Jason’s first year involved with TEDx WVU. After attending last year’s talks he knew that this was an organization he wanted to be a part of.

Upon graduation, Jason hopes to return to Philadelphia to pursue directing and stage management. One day, Jason hopes to become the Resident Stage Manager for a theatre in the Philadelphia area.
